Welcome to the Swallow Inn, Swallow, Lincolnshire... We are under New Ownership, have you been lately?

In the heart of the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, the new owners extend a very warm welcome to friends, old and new.

Sharon & Vicki Kendall took over The Swallow Inn & Restaurant at the beginning of June 2011.  Supported by a fantastic team who offer professional yet friendly service, the future is set to be bright... (Please have a look at the "From our Friends" page which shows some of the wonderful comments we have been lucky enough to receive since we have taken over)

Wolds View Restaurant...
With stunning views overlooking the Lincolnshire Wolds and food served Monday to Saturday 12pm-9pm and on Sunday 12pm-8pm.  All our produce is fresh, homemade and cooked to order at the highest standards. Luckily we have some incredible local suppliers who we are building relationships with and who enable us to provide good quality locally sourced food wherever possible.  For example; our vegetables are sourced from The Farm Shop in Stallingborough, our meat from Tony Jenkins Butcher in Grimsby and our chips made from local potatoes.  Our Ethos is simple... We offer warm hospitality, comfort and personal service; indeed you can be sure of a warm welcome, whatever the weather!

Our new menu includes some good old classics as well as something for every taste and appetite; perhaps a Light Bite or something a little more hearty such as a delicious Sunday Lunch or indulge in a dish from our Specials Board.  We also have a Lighter Lunch Menu served 12pm-6pm Monday-Friday; "small but perfectly formed" it offers 2 courses for only £6.95pp.

Children are always most welcome and highchairs are available.  We have a special Children's Menu which includes free ice cream, special puzzles and a colouring competition (complete with prizes). There are also books and crayons for those rainy days and an outside Children's Play area for when the sun is shining.

The relaxed ambience makes us the perfect spot for family gatherings, works parties or indeed any kind of celebration - we love to help make special occasions that bit more special.   We would recommend making a reservation in order to avoid disappointment.  Remember to join our Email Birthday Club to receive a free starter or dessert as a birthday treat.

Vegetarian and gluten free options are included on our menu and we will gladly cater for any other dietary requirement if you let us know in advance.

BT Openzone wireless broadband is available in the bar & restaurant for all BT customers.

The Poachers Bar... provides an informal atmosphere with fine real ales and a selection of beers and lagers. The perfect pit stop; Pop in for a pint, read the papers; simply make yourself at home.  This relaxed, dog friendly space is the perfect spot to unwind.  Bar food is served Monday to Saturday 12.00pm until 9:00pm and on Sunday from 12:00pm untill 8:00pm.

Beer Garden & Decked Area...A haven for those warmer days our large grassed Beer Garden and attractive Decked Area is a perfect place to unwind and relax with friends and family, bathed in the summer sunshine.   Our Light Bites menu is available for you both inside and outdoors in case the sun proves a little shy.

For our Younger Friends... There are lots of games and books including our Colouring Competition (see our News page for the winners details). Our Children's Play Area is situated next to the Beer Garden and makes us the ideal place for families to relax and enjoy their time together.

Customers with canine friends are more than welcome in our Beer Garden and also in the Poachers Bar.  We have a large supply of dog biscuits and fresh water to keep them happy while you relax.

We have a large car park, disabled parking and ramped access. Please do not hesitate to phone ahead and let our staff know if you need any assistance to make your visit any more enjoyable, we aim to please!

We hope to see you soon! (Remember to check out our "News" page for all the latest information and offers)

British swallows spend their winter in South Africa: they travel through western France, across the Pyrenees, down eastern Spain into Morocco, and across the Sahara. Some birds follow the west coast of Africa avoiding the Sahara, and other European swallows travel further east and down the Nile Valley.
